I like the addition of the defrost option, however I have not used it yet. The unit warmed up in a reasonable amount of time and allowed us to bake additional items at the same time we were using our traditional oven. Saved us a lot of time by doing this. Not only is this unit great at roasting Turkeys, it worked great when baking a cake! We have also made ham and summer sausage, even Nachos! The window on the top was a nice addition that my old roaster didn't have. I would've liked a built in timer, but that wasn't a deal breaker for me.
